City Readers visited Alain L. Locke to donate books to our school and speak to students about the importance of reading. As a result of donations collected by this organization, every classroom library at PS 208 will receive brand new books. Thank you City Readers!

Alain L. Locke Elementary School has been named the first partner school of City Readers!
City Readers is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in New York founded on three principal goals:
1) Promoting the appreciation of literature and reading amongst New Yorkers.
2) Raising books and/or funds for books for public and charter school students in New York City.
