Native American Self-Portraits

In art class fourth graders are drawing self-portraits of our selves as a Native American. I learned how to draw a face by myself. I learned how to draw a nose, mouth, eyes and ears. We drew like this because we are trying to imagine ourselves as Native Americans.

Fifth Grade Ballroom Dance Showcase

Alain L. Locke’s Fifth Grade Ballroom Dance Showcase was an overwhelming success! Families and fellow students watched as the fifth grade performed the foxtrot, merengue, swing and many more. African Dancing
