Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be from 1PM-3PM and 5:30-8PM on March 16, 2010 at Alain L. Locke.  This day will be a half day for all students with dismissal taking place at 12PM.  Use this opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers and pick up their most recent report card!

ELA Test Prep Workshop

PETCO Field Trip

Third and fifth grade students at Alain L. Locke Elementary attended a field trip to PETCO.  Students were able to interact with the animals on-site and learn about different habitats.  The educators at PETCO answered questions and provided a wealth of information about various reptiles, rodents, and fish.

Ice Skating in Central Park

Students vs. Staff Basketball Game

This past February the Locke Lions challenged the staff of Alain L. Locke Elementary to a basketball game.  In a close match that ended in overtime, the staff of PS 208 was victorious.  The Locke Lions can’t wait for a rematch!

Arts & Technology Legislative Breakfast

The Arts & Technology Legislative Breakfast will take place at Alain L. Locke Elementary on March 17, 2010.  Community leaders from our area have been invited to attend this breakfast and learn more about PS 208.  We look forward to their visit!
