COTEF Experience in Central Park

Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship is excited to have entered a partnership with the Children of the Earth Foundation.  This week each grade spent a day in Central Park interacting with their environment.  They built debris shelters, learned about tracking, heard folktales and much more! Social Studies in the Fifth Grade

Dance Residencies

Students at Alain L. Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship are getting ready for this December’s Dance Festival.  Fifth graders are learning Ballroom Dancing, fourth grades are learning Native American dances, and third graders are learning African dances.
