Mokee Joe at the Apollo

Fourth and fifth graders from Alain L. Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship were invited by Carmel Hill to the Apollo Theater for the launch of the fourth book in the Mokee Joe series.  Adrian from class 5-235 was called onstage to receive an award for his submission to the Mokee Joe poster contest.  Learn more [...]

Two Million Word Reader

Did you see this special message in the Content in Arts Festival program? As of March 25th Victoria has read 2,514,641 words.  Of the 16,000 students in New York City that participate in the Accelerated Reader Program, Alain L.
