Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship were invited by Carmel Hill to the Apollo Theater for the launch of the fourth book in the Mokee Joe series.  Adrian from class 5-235 was called onstage to receive an award for his submission to the Mokee Joe poster contest.  Learn more about this scary series at author Peter J. Alain L. Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship is excited to have entered a partnership with the Children of the Earth Foundation.  This week each grade spent a day in Central Park interacting with their environment.  They built debris shelters, learned about tracking, heard folktales and much more!

The Alain L. Locke Magnet School for Environmental Stewardship participated in Bounty’s Teacher’s Wish List kick off event at Columbus Circle.

Principal Green was joined by PS 208 teachers, parent coordinator, PTA president, parents and students on Tuesday morning. Between teacher prizes and a generous donation to our school, we will be receiving over $5,000 of school supplies for the upcoming year.
