 You won’t believe who came today!  The navy came to our school and they were talking about the ship.  Some of our students asked, “What do you have on your left chest?” and they said it was an award.

Wii Go Hard Party at PS 208

Fifth grades students celebrated their upcoming graduation from Alain L. Locke Elementary with a “Wii Go Hard Party.”  Activities included singing karaoke, dancing, and playing skeeball.

Urban Adventures: Paley Center For Media

During Urban Adventures we went on a cool trip to The Paley Center For Media. Some of us got to do sound effects and the others acted. The teachers there recorded it so now we’re getting a CD and we can share it with our parents. We had lots of fun!

OASIS Presents “Trouble in Olympus”

On Wednesday, May 26th at 6PM OASIS afterschool program will present a Motown musical titled “Trouble in Olympus.”
When Zeus and Hera have an argument, Hades sees an opportunity to create trouble.  Join Hermes and the Muses as they try to keep Olympus from falling apart.
There will be special performances by surprise R&B artists.

New York Cares at Alain L. Locke Elementary

PS 208 partnered with New York Cares for a very special afternoon.  Volunteers visited Alain L. Locke Elementary to paint a beautiful new mural on our playground and play kickball with students.  Watch students help the volunteers warm up!
