NYRP Target East Harlem garden (415 E 117^th St. between Pleasant and 1^st Ave)

This event will include workshops on planting apartment herb gardens, demonstrations on cooking locally, recycling, composting and other tips on living green and healthy on a budget.  Residents will also be awarded green giveaways including reusable bags from Whole Foods Market and energy efficient light bulbs to help them on the path to low impact living.  Hosted by the Nourishing Kitchen of NYC.
