Alain L. Locke Elementary School has been named the first partner school of City Readers!
City Readers is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in New York founded on three principal goals:
1) Promoting the appreciation of literature and reading amongst New Yorkers.
2) Raising books and/or funds for books for public and charter school students in New York City.
3) Promoting literary appreciation and literacy amongst public and charter school students in New York City.
