The New York City Department of Education has designated March 8 through March 12, 2010 as Respect for All Week in all New York City public schools. Students at Alain L. Locke Elementary celebrated their culture as part of this initiative. Each student had the opportunity to wear clothes, make a flag, or share information about their culture at an assembly held in the PS 208 auditorium.
